We offer WoolWax in clear, black, or our house favorite—a mixture of the two! Our preferred method applies clear WoolWax in all serviceable areas (where mechanics need to work), which technicians love because they can still see components clearly. We use the black/clear blend in visible areas for a cleaner, factory-fresh appearance.
Is undercoating worth it for a new vehicle?
Absolutely. The best time to undercoat is BEFORE rust starts. New vehicles have pristine metal surfaces that WoolWax can bond to perfectly. Factory undercoatings are often minimal, and once rust begins, it's much harder (and more expensive) to stop. Will undercoating make a mess in my garage?
WoolWax is designed to stay where it's applied. Unlike some drip-oil products, WoolWax is a non-drip formula that cures to a non-tacky finish. How is WoolWax different from Fluid Film?

WoolWax also has superior corrosion inhibitors and tends to have better staying power in harsh conditions. The key difference: WoolWax is rated for 3 years, while Fluid Film typically needs annual reapplication.
Can you undercoat a used vehicle with surface rust?
